Creating Multiple Tournaments Within an Age/Division
When dividing age groups into multiple tournaments, Iowa USSSA will divide the teams by POWER RATING only
If a team has recently been reclassified from a higher classification and only have a few results in the new classification, the team will be placed in the upper division of the separated age group.
The State Director will review record and place in tournament at an appropriate seed.
If a team has recently been reclassified from a lower classification and only have a few results in the new classification, the team will be placed in the lower division of the separated age group.
The State Director will review record and place in tournament at an appropriate seed.
Teams may only participate in one USSSA State Tournament – (Exemption: 7CP, 8KP, 8CP)
